The OptoMag 23SM stereo microscope offers multiple magnification settings. The base models provide 10X and 20X magnification powers that can be extended to the range of 5X to 60X, depending on your choice of optional eyepieces. They come with both built-in incident and transmitted lights. The first is used for the observation of three-dimensional objects, and the second is used for the inspection of objects that allow light to get through them, like biological specimens and also used in education and research, ideal for routine laboratory and classroom use.
